Road trip day 9.

Yep. Its day 9 already. And an interesting day.

After starting the day by crushing my cell phone when I tried to stop the trunk from closing with it, it turned out to be pretty wonderful.

Yep. Went to three Verizon stores until I found what I wanted. Got the Storm 2; bigger memory, faster speed, and hey....all the same cords and stuff works. Gonna take a bit to get used to, but a new format would have been more difficult. I had an upgrade available so it wasn't as bad as it could have been cost wise.

I drove CA highway 1 for a good portion of the day, actually all the way from LA to San Diego that wasn't Interstate 5. Southern California really is beautiful.

Traffic sucked coming into San Diego. I think my friend Jenny told me that. I believed her.

So I actually made it to Petco Park for the game in time to relax just bit before the game. And the home team won; 6 of 7 so far. It was pretty one sided through six innings, but the last three made things interesting.

Tomorrow? A bit of a change; Vidalia is out and Island Empire is in. And an aircraft carrier decided that one.
