Road trip day 7.

Well friends, yesterday was a pretty good day.

Since Monday wasn't a huge driving day, I took in some scenery, a tour, baseball and a hotdog on Sunset.

I took a drive down to Santa Monica beach and found a bike path right on the beach. It went by shops, a carnival pier, lots of volleyball courts and even a TV show. I only rode for a little over an hour, but it was good. The weather was nice and the scenery even better.

After that, came time for the Warner Brothers Studio tour. My friend Jenny had suggested it as a possible event, and it was well worth it. Amongst my favorite was seeing the car from the recent movie Grand Torino, and the bug extraction device from the Matrix. It was also cool to see the studios. Its was neat to see how they setup things to shoot sitcoms like Two and a Half Men. It just looks tiny - so much bigger on TV, right?

From there was Kansas city at Anaheim, site of the 2010 All Star Game. The weather was absolutely wonderful again, woth temps in the low 70s. The game was a good one, with the potential winning run at the plate with runners on with two outs in the 9th where just about anything can happen. The atmosphere was nice - makes me think Astros games are just boring in that aspect. The amount of crowd involvement makes the game experience so much more enjoyable.

hope you're enjoying the notes. I'm having a great time. Life is good.
