Road Trip Day 1.

Good Afternoon! I decided that if I'm gonna blog each day, I'll do it while I'm stopped. So for all you guys and gals out there that think I text too much, feel confident that I'm not driving while blogging.

I started the road trip in earnest today after spending three days riding my bicycle built for one over mountain passes. I started in Evergreen this morning, westerly to through Glenwood Canyon to Glenwood springs, then turning south to Carbondale and Ouray, then continuing to Durango. Tonight I'll stay in Farmington, NM just because its cheaper than Durango.

A few pics of Glenwood Canyon and surrounding area are first today.

Then there's the rest. The Million Dollar Highway just blew me away. I'm gonna have issues with memory for pictures on my phone if this continues. As it is, I will only post a few. As someone said today, they all look like postcards. Yes. If you have not driven in southwest Colorado, do it. Bucket list, short list, whatever; make it happen.

420 miles, and about 11 hours on the road was well spent. Tomorrow is a bit shorter. Amd even though there's good things to see, today was hard to beat.
